Activate Maps is a Mapped Key used to toggle certain Key Maps. For World of Warcraft this Mapped Key is in the Control Key Map. For other games it is in the Always On Key Map. It is created by the Quick Setup Wizard.

This Mapped Key commonly leads to confusion in new users as it only toggles two Key Maps in its default state. For WoW it toggles the Key Maps General and FTL DPS Keys. For other games it toggles the Key Maps Non-combat and Combat.

If you wish to have other Key Maps toggled at the same time as the above Key Maps, instructions are given below.

How to modify Activate Maps to toggle a new Key Map

  1. Select either the Control (WoW) or Always On (other games) in the bottom left pane of ISBoxer.
  2. Click the + sign next to Activate Maps to expand the details of the Mapped Key.
  3. Under Steps, select Step 1.
  4. In the bottom middle pane, right click Actions and select Key Map Actions, New Key Map State Action.
  5. In the bottom right pane, set the Target to Window: All w/ Current.
  6. Set the Key Map to the name of the Key Map you wish to toggle.
  7. Change the drop down to the right of the Key Map to "Off".
  8. In the bottom left pane, under Steps, select Step 2.
  9. In the bottom middle pane, right click Actions and select Key Map Actions, New Key Map State Action.
  10. In the bottom right pane, set the Target to Window: All w/ Current.
  11. Set the Key Map to the name of the Key Map you wish to toggle.
  12. Ensure the drop down to the right of the Key Map is set to "On".
